Welcome to the website for Masons based in and around Manningtree, Essex
The Masonic Centre in South Street Manningtree is home to two Masonic Lodges Mistley Lodge No. 2339 which meets on a Thursday evening, and Dedham Vale No. 8901 which meets on a Tuesday evening. New members are always very welcome.
We are very pleased that membership has increased over the past 12 months with joining members who have moved into the area, and new members from the age of 20 upwards!
We are one of the biggest Charities in the UK, supporting not only local needs, but national needs through our United Grand Lodge.

Charitable Giving
Some of our distinguished brethren presenting a cheque to St Helena Hospice
Charitable giving is a very key part of Freemasonry for many members. Therefore, we were extremely pleased to be able to present a cheque for £1,000 in May 2025 to St Helena Hospice. They do some truly great work to help people in north east Essex face incurable illness and bereavement, supporting them, their families, friends and carers.
