A history of Dedham Vale Lodge No. 8901

 Founded in 1979 the Lodge is the Daughter Lodge of Mistley Lodge No 2339 and, for the first few years of its existence met at the Dedham Village Hall moving to the Mistley Masonic Centre which is now home to all the Orders meeting at Manningtree. 

 The actual Consecration was held at the St Giles Masonic Centre on 11 September 1979 the Consecration being conducted by the Provincial Grand Master Right Worshipful Bro. F. W. R. Leistikow. The first Master of the Lodge was W. Bro. A. Holland.

 The Lodge crest you can see below was designed by Bro. J. Palmer of Claudius Lodge No 8700 and the banner dedicated on October 1998.
